Gas boilers installed after 1 April 2005 and oil boilers installed after 1 April 2007 must be High Efficiency (condensing) boilers, whether they are replacements or new installations.

Additional Services
Install an in-line filter to the boiler
In-line filters like a boiler buddy or magna clean protect your boiler by collecting any impurities sludge and scale deposits which hinder efficiency.
Pipework Upgrades
Our highly trained plumber can diagnose and rectify your pipe work faults and offer a service to alter the piping at resonable rates. If the system corrosion has been initiated by poor system design, we can undertake any remedial work necessary to correct the problem.
Radiator Replacement
We can supply and fit replacement or additional radiators.
Radiator Thermostats (TRV’s)
Current regulations specify thermostatic radiator valves. These valves control the temperature of each room individually and save fuel. We can upgrade your whole system or replace individual valves.
Cylinder Replacement and Thermal Store
You may have an older uninsulated hot water cylinder. Our plumber can replace this with a modern unit which has a high efficiency heat exchanger and bonded insulation. The water will heat up more quickly and stay hot for longer. If you wish to upgrade your hot water performance we can upgrade your cylinder to a Thermal Store, giving you mains pressure hot water.
Un-vented cylinder
We can supply the latest high performance cylinder ideal for multiple showers, or power showers, giving up to 50 ltrs min flow rates compared to 12 ltrs from a combi boiler.
Wireless Control Thermostats
These are ideal for use where it is impractical to run wiring between the thermostat location and other controls in the system. Using secure digital radio communication, the units can be mounted up to 30 metres away from the thermostat. Receivers are available in 1, 2 or 3 channel versions, making them ideal for zoning applications.
Electronic Programmable Thermostats - Chrono-proportional Capabilities
You might have an older system where you cannot, for example, fully control the heating and hot water independently. Changing a domestic boiler alone will not necessarily optimise potential energy and carbon emission savings. The use of an electronic thermostat with chrono-proportional capability provides closer temperature control and maximises these savings. Reductions of 10% in both fuel and carbon emissions are achievable.
